Building Digital Resilience: From Ideas to Implementation

The purpose of this session will be to bring the topics of the conference together and convert information into action. We will be discussing the opportunities to develop a digital strategy, move to cloud-based business functions, and protect your data. We will also explore the current opportunity to fund this transition for your business.

About The Presenters


Jason Fisher, RPF - Partner, MNP​
Jason is a member of MNP’s Consulting Services team based out of Prince George, BC. His 20 plus years of experience in the forest sector enables him to advise clients on issues from sustainable resource management and fibre supply strategy to governance and government relations.

​Jason works with licensees, manufacturers, contractors, associations, Indigenous organizations and the public sector. Whether you are a veteran of the forest sector or a new entrant, Jason can help you build effective strategies, develop strong relationships, influence and adapt to public policy and make the most of your opportunities.
​
Prior to joining MNP, Jason has worked as a forestry lawyer with a multinational law firm, a Vice President in both the forest products and bioenergy sectors, an advisor to First Nations, and as an Associate Deputy Minister in the the BC Public Service. In the deputy role, Jason was the provincial lead on the softwood lumber dispute with the US and responsible for policy areas including timber pricing, forest sector competitiveness, forest tenures and rural economic development.

Jason earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in natural resource management (forestry) from the University of Northern British Columbia in 1999 and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of British Columbia in 2005. He is also a Registered Professional Forester.

Kristin Giannotti, CPA, CGA - Senior Manager, MNP​
Kristin Giannotti is a senior manager working out of our Prince George and Williams Lake offices. With over a decade of experience in local government and not-for-profit organization audit, Kristin brings strong analytical skills and deep understanding of the issues.
 
Kristin has worked with over eleven local government clients ranging from municipalities, regional districts and regional hospital districts. Prior to joining MNP, she was a senior manager with a major accounting firm for four years. Kristin has audit experience with community forest entities, Indigenous local governments and not-for-profits.  She also has a wide breadth of accounting and tax knowledge assist with everyday operations.
 
Kristin earned a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from University of Northern British Columbia, and a Diploma in Accounting and Finance from College of New Caledonia. She is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), originally qualifying as a Certified General Accountant (CGA).

Andrew Adams, CPA, CA, CFP - Partner, MNP
Andrew Adams is a Business Advisor serving clients out of MNP’s Prince George and Quesnel offices. Andrew is passionate about helping business owners, managers and professionals grow their enterprises and achieve their long-term goals. 

Andrew has first-hand experience managing the responsibilities of business ownership. He takes a proactive approach as a trusted advisor, developing strategies to help his clients meet and overcome their challenges. Andrew’s clients include physicians, dentists and other professionals, as well as businesses from a variety of sectors, including construction and real estate. He consults on all aspects of business ownership, including tax and estate planning, family trusts, succession and the purchase or sale of businesses. He also draws on his experience as a Certified Financial Planner to help his clients manage their personal finances.

Andrew earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in accounting and marketing from Simon Fraser University in 1995. He is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), qualifying as a Chartered Accountant (CA) in 1998. He earned his Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation in 2002.
