Northern Regional Construction Association (NRCA) Congratulates the New Liberal Government and Regional Members of Parliament
Prince George – April 29th, 2025
The Northern Regional Construction Association (NRCA) congratulates Prime Minister Mark Carney and all newly elected and reappointed Members of Parliament (MP) nationwide.
The NRCA extends an additional congratulations to our regional MP’s on being elected within their ridings. The association looks forward to meeting with the following representatives to discuss the construction industry in our region:
- Prince George-Peace River-Northern Rockies: Bob Zimmer, Conservative Party of Canada
- Cariboo-Prince George: Ellis Ross, Conservative Party of Canada
- Skeena-Bulkley Valley: Todd Doherty, Conservative Party of Canada
“Canada needs a strong and resilient construction industry to support Canadians from coast to coast,” said Nicole Bryant, CEO of the NRCA. “The NRCA looks forward to meeting with the Members of Parliament within our region to discuss the issues and policies that affect our membership and Canadians. We will continue to be a voice for the industry at all levels of government, and the NRCA will continue to work closely with the Canadian Construction Association to have our region represented at the federal level.”
Throughout the Federal Election, the NRCA supported the Canadian Construction Association (CCA) on their campaign, Construction for Canadians. The campaign focused on the importance of construction, receiving support from candidates of all parties across Canada and opened dialogue during this election cycle on the priorities held by the Canadian construction industry.
“This campaign allowed for all levels of Construction Associations to be heard and to emphasize the importance of construction to candidates across the nation,” said Bryant. “We will continue to work alongside our counterparts at CCA to ensure that Prime Minister Carney and his new government hold to their commitments made towards the construction sector.”
