Northern Regional Construction Association Announces 2026 Constructing Excellence Award Recipients
Prince George, BC – April 8th, 2026 – The Northern Regional Construction Association (NRCA) is thrilled to announce the winners of the 2026 Constructing Excellence Awards. These awards celebrate outstanding achievements and contributions within the construction industry, recognizing excellence in leadership, innovation, safety, and community impact across Northern BC.
The winners were honored during the annual Constructing Excellence Awards Gala, held on April 2nd, 2026, where industry professionals gathered to celebrate the exceptional accomplishments of their peers.

Project Awards
- Prime Contractor Award – Over $20 Million: IDL Projects Inc – U-Haul Moving & Storage Buildings
- Prime Contractor Award – $10 Million to $20 Million: Marmot Builders Ltd. – Cheslatta Carrier Nation Community Centre & Administration Building
- Prime Contractor Award – Under $10 Million: Marmot Builders Ltd. – Hub City Volkswagen Renovation
- Electrical Subcontractor Award – Over $10 Million: Houle Electric Ltd. – Site C Clean Energy Project
- Electrical Subcontractor Award – Under $10 Million: Primus Electric Inc. – PGRCC Fire Alarm Replacement
- General Subcontractor Award: Nucor Rebar Fabrication – Cheslatta Carrier Nation Community Centre & Administration Building
Industry Excellence Awards
- Supplier of the Year: Corestock Industrial Supply Ltd.
- Employer of the Year: IDL Projects Inc.
- Excellence in Innovation: Acres Enterprises Ltd.
- Safety Excellence: Acres Enterprises Ltd., Houle Electric Ltd. and IDL Projects Inc.
Individual Excellence Awards
- Woman in Construction of the Year: Cristina Bond, Prince George Portable Toilets Ltd.
- U40 Person of the Year: Cassie Savage, Corestock Industrial Supply Ltd.
- Apprentice of the Year: Brianna Posser, Electrical Solutions
